If the course you offer is made part of our programme we will handle all publicity and enrolment and you would be paid by CWVH for running the course on the basis of sufficient enrolment.
Alternatively you can hire the hall, promote and run courses yourself.
Course can be weekday ongoing courses, one day courses or weekend workshops, and we currently run courses for the Autumn & Spring Terms with a few courses which run for a Summer Term, but you are welcome to make suggestions for other times.
Countess Wear Village Hall and our wide range of courses are run by volunteers. The hall was built in 1922 but what we lack by way of the modern facilities that many of the schools and colleges boast, we make up in enthusiasm and commitment to the community.
We are in the process of fundraising and bidding for Lottery funding to build a new much bigger and better Community Centre. Our vision for this new centre is that it will serve the whole of the Countess Wear area and will be a Centre of Excellence for Adult Education.
